Interface Consulting is currently helping in the development of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for Total E&P (Uganda) for its field development and production phases. The main objective is to ensure that there is wider and more in-depth understanding about the oil-cycle, from exploration to site restoration, through the provision of accurate and timely information in formats tailored to an array of stakeholders. This is to ensure that there is ongoing clarity about the issues of concern of key stakeholders, so that these can inform programming and company responsiveness.
Interface conducted extensive consultation of key stakeholders at the National Level and carried out focus group discussions and key informant interviews in the project area which stretches from Murchison Falls National Park in Nwoya district, across the Nile to Buliisa district and even further still onto Hoima where there are plans to construct an oil refinery.
