Summary:

Five Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Uganda are taking part in the one year community empowerment programme that aims at developing and strengthening their capacities in influencing change through gaining a firm grasp of strategies that aptly apply to their situation.

In line with this, Interface Consulting Ltd will be training these five select CSOs to better understand policy advocacy, lobbying and influencing under the Community Empowerment Programme (CEP) initiated by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, the client.

The programme will include surveys, workshops and mentoring sessions to better enable these CSOs strengthen other CSOs in their region, grasp process documentation which they can use as evidence to influence policy change in their region.

The programme that started on 1st April, 2013 will run till 1st June 2014.
